Batch Rename (with GPrename)

Description:

GPrename is a very powerful batch renamer written in Perl and GTK (hence the name). With this program it is possible to automatically number files, make insertions, deletions or replacements - even preview and undo the changes.
Check out the homepage at http://gprename.sourceforge.net/ for more details and downloads.
This action simply opens the current dir in GPrename.

Configuration file:
downloadconfig_38643db8-62c7-44e1-96ee-98fc9360a2cd.schemas

Dependencies:

You need GPrename to make this action work.

Installation notes:

1. Download GPrename
2. Install GPrename.
3. Import the action.

GPrename comes with a small 'nautilus-action-icon' - you may want to use that.

Thanks for the action

Thanks for the action script. After installation and restarting nautlius the menu entry appears. However, selecting some files and executing the gprename menu entry does not have any action. Could somebody explain more in detail how to configure the gprename action? E.g. what parameters, conditions have to be set. Thanks, Stefan

Re: Thanks for the action

Hi Stefan,

Did you first install GPRename on your computer ? This is a prerequisite to make it works.

Best regards
